I have enjoyed my 10 days on this site. I have been busy at work this week and am getting back to the site. I have some One thing I am trying to figure out is what constitutes a quality post? I thought I had posted some good questions, participated a few threads and was disappointed I was chosen. While disappointed that I didn't play I am more concerned about better understanding what constitutes a quality post.
I would love to get a better understanding of how I can better contribute to this site. Thanks for reading.
In terms of qualifying for the freeroll, the term "quality post" has slightly changed its meaning compared to say 5 months ago. We used a point system inorder to judge who would enter the freeroll. At that time, members started posting one liner or 2 liner posts to gain points, but the posts themselves added no value to the ongoing thread. So, we defined a "quality post" as being a post that is atleast 3-4 lines and clearly displayed a thought. Nowadays, we don't use the point system, but a "quality post" has somewhat the same meaning but is more flexible.
As long as you are enjoying the discussions and taking part in them, your posts will automatically be quality. And judging from what you said, it seems like you are having fun.
BTW how come you didn't play in the freeroll?
:As: If this isn't the next generation of poker, then what is????:As:
