Who is your favorite WPT player? Do you prefer watching men and women playing or Just men or Just women?

I have always liked to watch poker, I remember watching the 95 series where "Action" Dan Harrington won the title. It just amazed me that someone could win that much money for only about a weeks-worth of work. I guess it was that tourney that got me interested in poker.

Anyways, my favorite player would have to be Chris "Jesus" Ferguson. Not only can he throw cards through vegitables and fruits, he can sniff out bluffs, and he can sense weekness better than almost anyone out there. I like the way he plays, carries himself, and most importantly, wins.

My favourite player currently is Dutch Boyd. You should probably remember him if you have watched the 2003 and 2005 WSOP. He's a genius in many aspects but suffers from Bi-Polar which gets the best of him sometimes. I like to follow him on his blog...http://www.dutchboyd.com

I like to watch someone like Daniel Negreanu because theres always a lot of action. Also there always alot of table talk when you watch someone like him. Another guy I like to watch for the same reason is Marcel Luske.

easy decision.

Hands down it's Gus Hansen.

His reads are very good. He makes very good mathematically based decisions. And he says funny stuff.

There's a good recent interview with him on cardplayer.com.

For the person that said Dutch Boyd, you might want to look a bit more into the guy.

He is obviously very bright and put on a great show in 2003. He's also obviously very troubled by bipolar disorder (which is a very, very tough illness).

There's more to him, however. He was involved in an early online poker company that ended up going belly up (because Paradise and Planet Poker were launched and were just better). When it went belly up, no one was able to withdraw their funds. He blamed the inablity fo peole to withdraw on some financial intermediary, but it sounded like a pretty weak excuse to many. There are many that believe he took the money for himself.

There's also a deal with "The Crew" (lamest name in poker for any group...). He had a falling out with longtime friend Brett Jungblutt (Gank, who btw is a bracelet winner) over misuse of their shared bankroll.

If you read 2plus2, Greg Raymer views Boyd as very shady and he's a very reasonable guy, I assure you.

Anyway, sorry to burst any bubble you had related to the guy, but I thought you might want to know. You tell many people in the poker world you're a big fan of the guy and they will probably wonder how up you are about the poker world (I'm not super up on it at all, this was just so big it's hard to miss) and probably about your ethical standards as well.

There's a bit to suggest that Boyd isn't just troubled, that he's probably a bit of a scumbag.

HELLMUTH ALL THE WAY, he is the most entertaining and def one of the top 10 in terms of playing ability. He also takes a lot of crap for being so arrogant but hey lets admit it most people who are the best in something are arrogant.
