Heart Legendary Winnings : Brunson and Chan tied again, this time at 10!

June 29th, 2005 will go down in history as a landmark day in Poker history. It was on June 29th that Poker Great Johnny Chan broke a 3 way tie for most World Series of Poker victories, by securing his 10th Golden Bracelet. Chan won the $2500 Pot Limit Holdem Event to break the deadlock for most bracelets; Amazingly, the ageless Doyle Brunson responded just four days later, by picking up a 10th bracelet for himself, and re-joining the battle for all time WSOP supremacy.

^^^ I think Johnny Chan is gonna surpass Doyle w/the most bracelets in the future, not coz hes better than Doyle (Who i think is a great player) but coz hes younger.

Hellmuth, i dont think, will pass Chan at all. The one person who i do think right now will get the most bracelets in the future, is none other than, Phil Ivey.

That is a phenominal feat 10 bracelets eachI would give anything to get 1 bracelet. I think Ivey will have 10 before his playing career is done. Brunson and Chan will win more I think. It s great that there is still a tie for the most bracelets I hope next year the till will be broken.

Playing all these events at the WSOP, I think Ivey and other young guns may make 10 look like a mortal number one day.

"While his table attitude may have attracted some negative attention, few people can dispute the fact that Phil Hellmuth is one of the most accomplished Poker players in the history of the game. Already at age 40, Hellmuth has placed in over 35 top Poker events, and is currently tied with legends Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan for the record for most WSOP victories, with nine."

Not anymore! How about an update?
