Default 77 year old woman wins WSOP event

a woman finally won the Seniors Event at the World Series of Poker, this time at the 2006 WSOP being held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The winner, 77 year old Clare Miller, is a New Mexico grandmother who won the Seniors Event at the WSOP during the week she was also celebrating her 41st Wedding Anniversary. After a two day marathon of card playing it was Miller who emerged the eventual winner, taking home a coveted WSOP bracelet, a huge cash payout, and the honor of being the first woman to nail the Seniors Event. I some how missed this tourney during the WSOP but I think it would of been funny to watch. What is a 77 year old woman going to do with all that money?

this is new news to me elon as i didnt know that there were some age restricted wsop touneys, like the one you have mentioned. I dont know if i agree with the idea, i think poker is an age where anyone can excel. for example texas dolly brunson is quite old and still will play some wpt and wsop events.

That is very impressive for someone of that age. She must be amazingly talented. If she wants she can lend me some of the money
