Default Holding poker/casino night for our footy club

Im holding a Poker and Casino night for the local football club i help run (soccer if in US).

Im looking for some ideas or help on where to get lots of information on setting this up and places i can get rules and help for dealers. Were expecting about 300 people at this event.

Any help or pointers is appreciated.

cheers.

If you are expecting that many people, I would find the local poker league, and contact the person running it. Here in Tennessee, we have several poker clubs who have free tournies.

They have the chips, and the tables to run something like this.

That's what I would do if I had a big crowd like this. Throw him some money for his time and effort.

You have really hit upon a true money maker for your group;however in order to make it work it needs to be something more established than a one nite event. There are many online sites that can help you run a tournament which is the way to go. Charge a per player price. Rake 15% for your group and pay out 85% to the players. I would suggest dealers for each table but then you have to cut into your payout to pay them or people from your group can do it for free. You can also have "self-dealt" tables but most players don't like them. GL on your event. Hope you raise a lot of money.
