Default My First Royal

I played few hands this morning on Titan and I got my 1st ROYAL FLUSH. I had a couple bucks starting and caught AhQh UTG and raised it 3BB. SB raised it to $1 and I just went all-in because I was only planning to play a few hands. LP and SB called so it was a three way pot. The flop came Kh-Jh-Td, Turn Th and River was a blank. EP showed J-J for a Boat, but was certainly disappointed to see my Royal Flush.

The very next hand I get garbage like 5s-2d on BB. I forget the exact flop, but the board had a 4d-5d-6d-7d and a blank. A guy in late position had the 3d for a STR8 FLUSH, but only took down a small pot because he hit it on the River. That's the wackiest cards I've seen on Titan (or any online site) ... ever.

After about a year and a half of online poker, I've hit all the hand ranks. I wonder what the odds are of hitting a Royal Flush starting with two of the five? It's probably somewhere in the order of 1 in 19,600 (50x49x48/3/2) to flop it.

Congrats Iceberg. I have yet to see one yet, but hopefully I'm saving it for when I'm at the final table of the $100 million dollar freeroll in April.

Thanks. Plus I just got this email from Titan ...

"Congratulations on getting a great hand. Were pleased to inform you that your Poker account has been credited with $9.00 in respect of your Top Hand of the Day Bonus."

I didn't know that Titan had this Bonus ... COOL.

Congrats on your first Royal. I am still looking for mine and I know someday I will be successful. One day the cards have to decide they like me, don't they?

Nice thats a nice added bonus. I wonder where they came up wiht $9 bucks. That seems a little random.

I wonder if he was the only one who received the best hand of the day bonus. I mean, there HAD to be another royal flush during the day. Maybe its a prize pool they have everyday, and it gets split up between all the people who got royals. Or maybe i have no idea and am just making stuff up as i go...

Yeah I'm also thinking that they split up the Best Hand Bonus amongst several players. I was only playing on the Micro-Limits. If a person playing higher limits also got the same high hand and $9 BHB, it looks like I got the best of the deal. No complaints here.
